About

Why a CTO is doing this

I'm Jared Stauffer. For 20+ years I've built and run systems that move money and data at scale, as a founder and as a CTO. Now I build them for owner-led shops.

Why I started PGG

Owners already have the answers they need, sitting in their own job software and books: which jobs make money, which quotes are worth a call, who owes what. But those systems don't talk to each other, and the numbers are often a little wrong. An invoice never marked paid, a payment counted twice, a job never billed. So owners run on gut feel and spreadsheets.

Something changed recently. For the first time, anyone can ask a question in plain English, in ChatGPT or Claude, and get a real answer. The missing piece is connecting those tools to a shop's own data, safely, with numbers you can trust, and with each person on the team seeing only what they should.

That's the work I've done for 20 years, at a bigger scale: bringing systems together, checking the data, keeping it secure, and building tools people actually use. Precision Growth Group brings that to shops like yours, through One View.

How I work

  • I do the work myselfYou talk to the person building your tools, not an account manager or an offshore team.
  • Plain English, no jargonYou'll always know what we're building, why, and what it costs.
  • Read-only, and your data stays yoursNothing in your systems changes unless you turn that on. Your data lives in its own isolated store.
  • I work with your bookkeeperWe find the problems; they fix them. They get their own access to One View.
  • I reuse what worksTools proven at other shops are adapted to yours, so you're not paying to reinvent them.
  • Month to monthNo long contracts. You stay because One View is useful, and you can cancel anytime.

What I've built

Recent projects for clients

Different industries, same approach: find where time and money leak, then build the system that stops it. Clients are anonymized at their request, and every number comes from their records.

Specialty contracting firm19% → 37%win rate on submitted proposals

Proposals in 15 minutes, and nearly double the win rate

The problem. Estimators and project managers gathered site details, drafted proposals, sent documents and chased responses by hand. It slowed sales and pushed overhead up.

What I built. A voice-driven AI agent. Field teams and estimators speak the project details, and the system writes a professional proposal, sends it, tracks when the client opens it and runs follow-up based on how they respond.

  • 2.5 hrs → <15 minto write each proposal
  • 38% → 92%follow-ups completed
  • 19% → 37%win rate
  • −71%admin hours on proposals and follow-up
  • 10×more opportunities pursued, same headcount
Commercial real estate portfolio−67%operating costs

Operating costs down 67% across a rental portfolio

The problem. Tenant billing, payment tracking and notices were all manual. Staff time grew with every property, so the portfolio couldn't grow without hiring.

What I built. An AI tenant-management system that generates bills, sends payment reminders, calculates late fees and handles tenant messages end to end. It works with the existing property systems and flags only the exceptions for a person to review.

  • −67%operating costs
  • Fastercollection cycles
  • Fewerbilling errors
  • 0admin hires needed to add properties
Mid-size manufacturer−73%unplanned downtime

Unplanned downtime cut 73%

The problem. Maintenance ran on a calendar, not on machine condition. Production planning and machine-hour tracking were mostly manual, and unplanned downtime was expensive.

What I built. An AI agent that watches equipment performance in real time, predicts maintenance needs, books service windows around the production schedule, logs downtime and alerts technicians only when they're needed.

  • 11.2% → 3.0%machine hours lost to unplanned downtime
  • 61% → 94%preventive maintenance done on schedule
  • +18 ptsoverall equipment effectiveness
  • −67%maintenance-related operating costs
