How it works

Keep your existing apps.Get insights from them right in ChatGPT.

We connect the software you already run, keep the numbers in sync, and build AI tools so your whole team can get answers in ChatGPT or Claude. Most shops are live in 3–5 weeks.

Keep your software

Your job software and your books stay exactly as they are. Your team keeps using them the same way.

Nothing to install

We connect to your apps online. The one exception is QuickBooks Desktop, which needs a small connector.

Read-only

We never change anything in your systems unless you flip the switch and allow it.

Use it like any chat

Your team asks questions in ChatGPT or Claude, the same way they'd text you a question.

How it fits together

One View is our service that brings your business systems together, keeps the numbers in sync, and runs AI tools built for your shop, right inside ChatGPT or Claude. More about One View

Chapter 1 · Getting set up · about 3–5 weeks

Most of the work is ours.

Here's what happens, week by week, and how little of it lands on you.

Us: about 90% of the setup workYou: about 2 hours in total
  1. Day 1

    A free 30-minute call

    What we do

Learn how your shop runs, which apps you use, and what you most want answered.

    What you do

    Talk for 30 minutes.

  2. Weeks 1–2

    The AI Assessment

    What we do

Assess how ready your business is for AI: review your systems, test how trustworthy your data is, confirm we can connect everything, and write your AI plan.

    What you do

Click “Allow” in each app (read-only), then a one-hour review with Jared. Your bookkeeper is welcome.

    What's in your AI plan

    • Your AI readiness. Where your systems, data and team stand today, and what's holding you back from using AI with confidence.
    • AI tools to build first. A suggested list for your shop, ranked by what each is worth, with who uses it and what it answers.
    • What to fix in your data. Every mismatch from the last 12 months, priced in dollars, as a fix list for your bookkeeper.
    • Who gets what. Access for each person on your team, by role, so everyone sees what they need and nothing they shouldn't.
    • Timeline and price. What setup involves, how long it takes, and exactly what it costs to go live.

The AI Assessment is $3,500, and guaranteed: if the AI Assessment doesn't find at least $10,000 in money you're owed, work never billed, or yearly savings, you don't pay for it. Pricing

Chapter 2 · Using it every day

A day with One View at Desert Valley Plumbing.

Three people, three different jobs, one source of answers. Mike owns the shop, Linda keeps the books, and Rosa runs the office and the schedule.

Sample shop. Names and numbers are fictional.

  1. Overnight · One View

Your apps sync, and the checks run

One View copies the day's jobs, invoices and payments, checks each system against the other, and gets every person's answers ready.

  2. 6:00 a.m. · Mike · Owner

The morning brief, before the trucks roll

Mike reads what changed overnight and the top three things to act on, in dollars. Later he asks ChatGPT, "Which bids did we lose this month?"

    Morning brief6:00 a.m.

Data health Mostly clean. 2 things sent to Linda.

    1. Call the two repipe quotes, $26,750 together, both 14+ days old.

    2. 12 late payers are on next week's schedule, $6,140.

    3. Drain cleaning margin is down to 25%.

  3. 9:00 a.m. · Linda · Bookkeeper

A fix list instead of a hunt

Linda sees exactly which records don't match, and what each is worth. She fixes them in the books, the way she always has, and asks, "What's our receivables aging?"

    Today's fix list2 new · 1 confirmed fixed
    • !3 invoices paid in the job software, still open in the books$1,180
    • !Deposit on the 4th is $38 short of its invoices (card fee)$38
    • ✓Duplicate payment from Tuesday: fixed, confirmed last night
  4. 10:30 a.m. · Rosa · Office manager

    Customer answers on the go

Rosa checks who on tomorrow's schedule still owes money, from her phone. She can see customers and jobs, but not profit or revenue.

    ChatGPT

Who on tomorrow's schedule still owes us?

    Three: Okafor ($860, 8 a.m.), Delgado ($410, 11 a.m.) and Brennan ($295, 2 p.m.).

What was our revenue last month?

That isn't available for your role. Want help with a customer or a job?

    Ask anything

You decide who sees what.

Each person signs in as themselves, and One View only answers with what their role allows. You can change it anytime.

When something doesn't match

The numbers stay trustworthy because problems get caught, fixed and confirmed, every day.

  1. 1 · OvernightThe check finds a payment open in your books but paid in your job software.
  2. 2 · MorningIt shows up on Linda's fix list, with the dollar amount.
  3. 3 · That dayLinda fixes it in your books, the way she always would.
  4. 4 · Next nightThe check confirms it's fixed, and the numbers count again.

Questions owners ask

Do we have to switch apps or install anything?
No. You keep your job software and your books exactly as they are, and we connect to them online. QuickBooks Desktop is the one exception: it needs a small Intuit connector on the computer that runs it.
Does my team need training?
About 30 minutes. If they can text a question, they can use it.
What does ChatGPT or Claude see?
Only what's needed to answer each question someone asks, limited to what their role allows, in their own account. Your full data stays in your isolated store.
What if my software isn't on your list?
Ask us. If we can read the data, we can usually connect it, and the AI Assessment confirms that before you commit to setup.
Can I cancel?
Yes. One View is month to month. Cancel anytime and turn off our access in your apps yourself.
What if I want out?
Cut off our access yourself anytime from your software's settings, with no call needed. Ask us to delete your data and we'll do it within 30 days and confirm in writing.
